… has been accepted throughout much of history — polygamy?

Lots of men — especially kings and other rich men — have had several wives at the same time. And, it was widely accepted.

PostHeaderIcon Once same sex marriage is legal, will they teach it sex education in public schools?

Once it is recognized as a legitimate life style, it should be included in sex education. After, kids should be taught how normal and healthy it is. Maybe those fifth grade boys should get some types on lubrication before they start experimenting with anal.

PostHeaderIcon Name one benefit of marriage…?

I’m not married nor will I ever be. The simple reason is there’s nothing more I can get out of the marriage arrangement that I cant get out of an unmarried relationship. Here’s a list of items that any relationship comes with:

love-get it from both
sex-get it from both
children-get it from both
family-get it from both
respect-get it from both
support-get it from both

My point is why is the marriage arrangement such a big deal? Here’s what I think. If guys had their way we would do away with the whole silly marriage thing. If you think about it, it’s the last legal form of slavery around. Women on the other hand love the marriage arrangement. They think once a ring is on their finger that their bulletproof, or that they can let themselves go because their man cant go any where.
I say down with slavery (marriage) ! Anybody with me?
I’ll admit there are alot of good answer here but the bottom line is all these things can be had in a long term relationship.
For those that are pro marraige. You do realize that 50% of marraiges fail right? If it’s so wonderful and the only way to be happy and expierience life, why then does it fail so often?
Food for thought…
