Is it true that Obama will be considering making marijuana legal?
Okay, So i got this forward message that said that if it gets 1 million votes obama will make marijuana legal? this is what the text message said.
" FWD: FWD: Vote today to legalize marijuana. CNN today, Obama will consider w/ 1 million votes. Call 973-409-3274 listen and press #. Pass it on…"
& I called the number and like it said blah whatever on why it should be legal blah blah blah
but is this really true?
My question is does anybody believe that marijuana will be legal in the US anytime soon?
Me personally I believe that it should be. I think that alcohol is way worse health wise and marijuana could actually help our economoy. If it was legal the government could tax it similar to alcohol, they can use hemp for many different things(rope,clothes and many other things too), and correct me if Im wrong but I even heard that cannabis even puts out more oxygen then trees. Well please share with me your opinions on this.
A certain percentage of Americans use marijuana. Once it becomes legal, will that percentage increase?

Alcohol is legal, but not everyone drinks it. Cigarettes are legal, but not everyone smokes them.

I won’t use marijuana. I don’t smoke cigarettes, and they are LEGAL.
If tobacco is legal, will an employer disqualify you for employment if they find nicotine in your urine test?
I have been smoking almost every day for the past several weeks and I’m probably getting a new job soon. The job I’ve applied for requires a urine sample test to look for "controlled substances." Will they disqualify me for employment if they find nicotine in my urine sample? Or is it just for illegal drugs like marijuana?
For the record: yes, I know smoking is bad for me. I’ve only been smoking for a couple weeks and I’m working very hard to quit.
