PostHeaderIcon How often do you worry that your significant other (or yourself) will lose their (or your) job?

I don’t necessarily mean in a case where your SO has a problem holding down a job (but feel free to answer anyway!), I just mean in a normal situation. I mean it is always a possibility, I don’t care where you work. Some disastrous, unlikely event could happen. Myself, I’m a worrier, so I am curious to see if others are the same, or if you are just the type to not worry about such matters and are more "fly by the seat of your pants," or whatever. Anyway, thanks for answering. Let’s face it, regardless of whether you’re not working or the both of you are working, you are probably depending on your spouse’s income in some way.
Lose their job, get fired, etc.
That sounds like great stability! You have a whole year saved up? *Wipes sweat from brow* Lol. My husband’s job right now typically has a short lifespan, people there last a few years and then it’s ADIOS, but I try not to worry because he does have a degree to fall back on if things got really desperate.

PostHeaderIcon To be yourself or not to be?

I have heard and read a lot about "Being Yourself" but i have lots of questions popping up in my mind about the validity of being ourselves as it only brought bad luck.
First how can you be yourself when you attend and interview? If you’re a shy and backward guy how can you pass that interview? So the solution is not to be yourself and show the interview board an artificial you!!! and get the job!!! Second, when you’re a backward, shy and all that rotten things that comes with that, how can you impress a girl or even express your love for her? Even if you do you’re gonna fail as the girl might like a guy with some confidence. Third, to be with friends and to like what they like and go with what they prefer, it won’t help you if you’re yourself. Which bunch of friends will accept you if you’re a dumb *** and be in a corner with shyness and lack of sports? So i think being yourself will only earn you bad luck…pls explain and give me solutions as im in the same situation.Tks..bye..

PostHeaderIcon when applying for a job does it matter what university you went to?

Alright lets say you graduated from gonzaga university (not very well known) with a masters and somebody else graduated from harvard (prestigious school) with the same major and everything… now will the person that graduated from harvard be more qualified for the job? or does it matter how you present yourself?

PostHeaderIcon How would you tell someone about yourself?

There is just so much to tell beside your name and age. What do you believe in? Where do you live? Which school did you go to? What are you doing by way of a job? The list goes on.

It’s so common to hear someone say "tell me about yourself." Where would you start? How would you go about introducing yourself?

PostHeaderIcon SAHMs what do you do to keep yourself from getting bored?

I stayed home with my son until he was 9months old and now I work full time. When my husband gets a better job I will be staying home again with our now 14 month old. When he was a newborn it was a breeze for me because he mainly slept and he wasn’t mobile LOL. I am sooo ready to be home with him, but worry about the being at home blues. Theres only so much cleaning you can do a day, so besides that what do you do to not feel bored and restless in the house?
