What is the scarf pattern in the Teach Yourself Visually Crochet book?
I bought this book, but I left it at my apartment, with no way to get to it re this blizzard!
If anyone has the pattern, would they mind posting it? The pattern is the one with the pink scarf with the white in the middle. It’s from the book Teach Yourself Visually Crochet.

Is Clause “Deposit will be returned without interest” in Lease Legal?
We live in a rent controlled apartment in Los Angeles. I understand that by law, the landlord has to pay interest on the deposit. However our landlord put a clause in the lease, saying that "deposit will be returned without interest".
Is that legal?
LA Housing department says it’s a civil matter and I’d have to hire a lawyer. Has anybody ever dealt with this?
Los Angeles RSO requires interest to be paid on deposit.

im not sure if im gonna buy this product because i only live in an apartment.. i dont want to cause any troubles to my neighbors.. so far the only tune-up ive done is the plugs and o2 sensor..

An aunt and uncle are the Co-exectors and my brother and I are the beneficaries. The thing is my aunt, uncles and their children went through my mothers apartment and took all the things that they wanted. Leaving my brother and I out of it. Now we are told that some things are in a storage and we have two months to get it out. My aunt is the only one who has acsess to the storage and can not seem to find the time to let us in.
There is very little money in an account at her bank maybe a few hundred, but the little trinkets of jewerly and such are more of importance, there is little money value to them. She was poor,
Do people who live alone talk to themselves when they are at home?
I think it would get boring (and lonely) being in a house or apartment by yourself. Would or do people who live alone feel inclined to talk to themselves?
