What would be the most logical thing to do in such awkward situation?
- it’s not a party type of situation (aka. no alcohol)
- its just a prolonged situation where you have to be there for quite some time.

I will turn 21 on December 10, 2008. Will I be able to buy alcohol that same day or will I have to wait the day after to become legal to purchase that kind of products??

Me personally I believe that it should be. I think that alcohol is way worse health wise and marijuana could actually help our economoy. If it was legal the government could tax it similar to alcohol, they can use hemp for many different things(rope,clothes and many other things too), and correct me if Im wrong but I even heard that cannabis even puts out more oxygen then trees. Well please share with me your opinions on this.

I honestly don’t think it will.

Alcohol is legal, but not everyone drinks it. Cigarettes are legal, but not everyone smokes them.

Why do so many say that once we legalize marijuana "everyone wil be stoned and society will fall apart"?

I won’t use marijuana. I don’t smoke cigarettes, and they are LEGAL.

My fiancee and I are eighteen, we are looking for different places to honeymoon, and one option is going on a cruise. We are not sure which line we would use, but we want to go to tropical places, like Cozumel, Jamaica, ect.

We were both wondering what the legal drinking age is. It seems like it would be twenty-one, but if you are in international waters it would be the legal drinking age in that area.

Also, we would be going by ourselves, but neither of our parents would mind signing a form saying we could drink. I’m not sure if that’s an option since they wouldn’t be coming along, but I have read that if they are with us we can do that.

And last question: if we got off somewhere where the legal drinking age is eighteen, could we bring the alcohol we bought back onto the ship?

And can we bring a blender with us? We don’t want to be chugging out of a bottle, we just want a few mixed drinks.

Are there any cruises that have a legal drinking age of 18? I just looked and most of them say 21.

I think we are just going to go to the Bahamas or Cancun instead though.
