Will there be a point when the films that Traci Lords did before she was of legal age will be legal to watch?
If you’ve read questions and answers I’ve posted here before, you’ll realize that this isn’t an interest of mine. What I’m wondering is whether there is a sort of statute of limitations on the adult film industry. Coupled with copyright limitations, would there eventually – maybe in a very long time – be no legal reason why that work couldn’t be bought, sold, and viewed? (That there may be excellent moral reasons for not doing so is not in question.) Another, sober, way to think about it: if one of Matisse’s nude models was 15 years old, would that make a provocative painting of her pornographic? It wouldn’t/doesn’t, but why not? If there is a legal double-standard, how do we account for it?
Will the question of when life begins ever be answered by any legal decree?
With the widespread controversy over abortion, do you believe that the courts or any other governing body will ever make a legal determination as to when life begins?
Should they have that power in your opinion?
I never expunged my childhood legal record, will a government job find it?
10 years ago (16 years old) I got in legal trouble, all my jobs since have done background checks and I still got the job (This time I didn’t admit to any offenses, I thought it was sealed) And it is too late to expunge my record by the time I start this job. I am going through the steps, but will they find the record?
And, should I make a copy of the expunction forms to bring in? Should I e-mail them to tell them? Or wait till they say the background check found something?
What kind of legal trouble will this get me into?
Okay, if my 18 year old friend was to adopt me, being the age of 15, and both my parents are against it, what kind of trouble, for how long, would my friend and I have to go through in order for her to adopt me?
What do think will result in the latest legal challenge against the EPA?
Will this latest legal petition take even more steam out of the climate change movement? Any predictions on the outcome?

Dana, I think the point is that since the original US Supreme Court ruling, there has been new evidence that climate change science may not be a strong as previously believed.
I think it’s quite reasonable to appeal a ruling when new evidence surfaces.
