I’m an independent student, will this affect my legal guardian filing me on her taxes?
I’m currently in college out of state and I had to file independent because my grandmother is my legal guardian and on the FASFA you can’t use grandparents unless their they have custody and she doesn’t. Will this affect her filing me on taxes?
No. Your grant and her taxes are unrelated. No worries.
